The programme is based at our friendly and well-equipped school in the heart of downtown, just one block from the university campus and close to the eclectic shops and cafes of Telegraph Avenue. For older juniors (12–17 years) the course combines English tuition in the mornings with fun activities and excursions in the afternoons. For younger juniors (6–11 years) we offer morning English classes in mixed ability classes.

Kaplan International Berkeley is located just two blocks from the University of California at Berkeley. There is a variety of courses to choose from including intensive English and graduate school test preparation. Students can also choose from homestay and student residence accommodation options. The school is in a modern building with excellent facilities and courses are taught by friendly, qualified, and experienced teachers. Only 30 minutes from San Francisco, students will also have many opportunities to experience the local California culture.

You stay in an experienced teacher's family home, have one-to-one English lessons and then continue to use the language during the rest of your stay in San Francisco. Mealtime conversation, television and social contacts are all in English.
