You stay in an experienced teacher's family home, have one-to-one English lessons and then continue to use the language during the rest of your stay in Honolulu. Mealtime conversation, television and social contacts are all in English.

Since 2007, we welcome students of all ages, levels and nationalities to the Hawaiian English School, where we offer a variety of English programs to help you achieve your personal goals. With no more than 9 students per class, we boast the smallest student-teacher ratio in Hawaii. This allows students to receive more personal attention from our dedicated teachers.
Outside of school hours, students continue their learning by participating in any of our weekly activities or by going home to practice English with their local host family.
