One of the most effective ways to learn and practice a language is immersion, as it allows intense exposure to the target language, in this case Spanish.
At Lapa Verde Spanish School, we feel honored and warmly welcome all students who make us part of their Spanish learning experience, our culture, while living with our host families and getting to know the beauty of our country; which allows them full exposure to Spanish. Our programs have been developed so that from the first week, the student can see results in their learning.
This course is considered for people who want to learn Spanish or who want to improve their communication skills in Spanish.
We work with small groups, with the aim of providing more personalized attention for the benefit of the student; on a schedule of four hours per day with a twenty-minute break. Additionally, if you need or want personalized instruction, we offer this course with individual classes with a schedule of four hours per day. For this course it is not necessary to have prior knowledge of Spanish.
Students have the opportunity to practice their Spanish in one cooking and Latin dance class per week. A tour to the city of Heredia is included.
In addition, different tours are offered that the student can purchase at the school.
We have a qualified team of highly experienced native Spanish-speaking teachers who will guide and support you in your enjoyable learning process.
LVSS has partnerships with the following universities and colleges in 哥斯達黎加. You can gain full or conditional acceptance into one of these institutions.
Lapa Verde is located in Santo Domingo de Heredia. Santo Domingo is a canton located between the province of Heredia and San José; It is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and is characterized by its great beauty. Walking through its streets you can see beautiful houses of Spanish colonial architecture, as well as Victorian architecture. It has a monumental church, the Basilica of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, whose imposing front view welcomes visitors and passersby upon entering the canton.
Santo Domingo has experienced increasing development, so, without losing the essence of a colonial town, it offers benefits similar to those of a city, such as a wide variety of restaurants, sodas, cafes and bars; supermarkets, stores, gyms and banks, among others; all this in the center and surroundings.
Lapa Verde is located 5 minutes from the center of Santo Domingo, so students can walk to school, as well as to the center.
The proximity of Santo Domingo, both to Heredia and San José, makes the location of Lapa Verde ideal. The bus service to Heredia and San José is very efficient. The bus stop for San José is in front of the school and the Heredia bus stop is just a few meters away.
This canton is an excellent starting point to visit and discover the enormous natural beauty of our country, such as the national parks, the beautiful beaches of the Pacific or the Caribbean, in short.
